Hendrix is for allways associated with the Fender Stratocaster, but he owned and played a lot of other instruments, mainly Gibsons, but also acoustics, and an 8-string bass.
Hendrix owned a large number of guitars, and typically he would use them for a number of months and then give them away. A few guitars were keepers, or had a special significance, and is therefore included in this overview of his main guitars.
